Today’s realizations

One common observation I have had throughout my life is that people come and they go. Some stay in touch with us for short time and some stay in touch for a little longer.

But ultimately everything is temporary here. All our relationships, home, name, degrees , bank balance… everything will be taken away at the time of death

So we need to see what are the activities where we spend most of our time, where our mind is meditating the most and is it really worth it…

Unless one has a deep and eternal understanding of reality as revealed through realized souls and various holy scriptures of the world, there is always some form of bewilderment awaiting any person. So it is imperative to understand what is the goal of life, what makes the heart fully satisfied.

The only thing which we can do is we give our best to whatever capability we have (try as hard as you can… beg, pray, pray more) and ultimately leave the rest to God. Generally leaving is quite difficult but we need to learn it to be peaceful and happy in our lives and ultimately understanding that Lord is the well wisher of everyone, he will take care through some other plans…

When things don’t go right…

Many a times in life things don’t go the way we want it. Everything is going smooth, we have nice time, nice relationships, nice work life… and suddenly the most unexpected event occurs.

The person who had the most trusted relationship with you parts away somehow, or you’re kicked out of your job or people lose trust in you, maybe society misunderstands you … this world is a flickering place and anything can happen at anytime.

What should we do? How to go ahead? One important thing to contemplate upon is when things don’t go my way I’m sad or dissatisfied, but when everything was going my way was I grateful for things which I didn’t deserve?

Life presents such situations so that we can contemplate more, spend some time with ourselves, nature and people who are peaceful and wise. Life gives us an opportunity to really think what is the goal of my life? The way I am living life is it really worth it or is their some higher purpose for which I am meant for? This is a perfect opportunity for us to contemplate and find answers to these fundamental questions.

And any sincere person who genuinely wants to get the correct answers and prays intensly will by the grace of the Lord guided to a bonafide person making way for further advancement…

Hope the people who need this will find guidance and inspiration ahead…

Lessons from life of an IITian

Importance of teacher in one’s life.

As I have taken up a role of a teacher, I cannot help but recognize the impact which some teachers have had in my life. There was my teacher of class 5 who used to call me her “favorite student”. Even though I was not very active in class, kind of an introvert but she always used to encourage me and help me become more confident by kind words and personal attention.

Also, I had a wonderful Physics teacher during my IIT JEE preparations. The way she taught us, the level of positive energy, aura in her personality, always motivating and inspiring us to so the best of our potential. The classes used to be just amazing! Seeing her I used to feel “One day may I also become a teacher like her…” From her I learnt the importance of qualities like discipline, regularity, sincerity. But more importantly I got deep faith in the presence of a higher power who controls and governs everything of this world.

During my 9th standard, I had a science tuition by the Vice Principal of Centre Point School in Nagpur. She was a nice teacher but I was a very naughty boy at that time. One day I misbehaved with the teacher due to which my parents were called and I was removed from the tuition. It was such a horrifying experience for me. But realizing my mistake, I repented and begged forgiveness thinking that I would never be able to show my face to my teacher and my friends of tuition. But my teacher was very kind. After a month or so, she allowed me to come back and behaved as if nothing happened. By this incidence I learnt that a teacher feels more pain if their student is in distress than the student itself and thus ready accept them back forgiving the mistake.

Meditating on these experiences, I feel grateful to all my teachers and understand that a teacher – student relation is absolutely necessary for a successful and fullfilling life. If a student is sincere and ready to act under the guidance of a genuine teacher, then success is sure for such a person in due course of time.
